Installing ESET NOD32 Antivirus is a fairly easy and fast process.

Get started by downloading the ESET NOD 32 Antivirus installer from a trusted source. The file “eset_nod32_antiviru_live_installer” will appear on the lower left of your Windows screen. Clicking this downloaded file will run the installer.
A window will appear asking to make changes to your windows system. Click “Yes.”

A window will appear with a choice of languages in a drop-down menu. Select your language and click “Continue.”
The End-user license agreement window will then appear. Click “I Accept”
The program will check for any conflicting applications on your system that may affect the installation.
If another security product already exists on your system, it might cause instability issues. You can choose to “Try Again,” “Ignore,” or “Close.” There is also a link that explains how to uninstall another existing antivirus program.
It is highly recommended to uninstall an antivirus program already installed on your system before installing any ESET antivirus product. The Windows removal tool in the Control Panel may be insufficient to completely remove all program files of this type.
You can also click on the link for uninstall assistance which will lead to a page with the ESET AV Removal Tool. Use this to uninstall any existing antivirus programs.
The file avremover_nt64_enu will appear in the lower left of your Windows screen. Click this file to open the AV Removal Tool.
A window will appear asking to make changes to your Windows system. Click “Yes.”

The AV Remover main window will appear.
Click “Continue.”

Accept the License Agreement.

It will then scan for antivirus applications. Once it finds other antivirus programs, it will remove them. If they are not supported, it will say “No supported applications.”
It is recommended to run the Windows uninstaller for Add / Remove programs in your Windows Control Panel or Setting -> Apps. This will remove any remaining anti-virus applications.
Close the Wizard when the removal process is complete or other programs could not be uninstalled.
If you are in the midst of installing ESET, then you must close the installation to fully remove other antivirus programs from your Windows system. Windows will most likely need to restart, after which you can restart the ESET installation.
Once this is complete, the installation will continue.

A window will appear where you can choose an application option. Once chosen, another window will appear to fill out your registration information, including your email address and country. Click “Activate.”
Another window will appear stating the program will be installed. Click “Continue.”

A window will appear that asks to check which LiveGrid feedback system type you would like to contribute your statistical information to. This helps to improve ESET products for all its users via the cloud.
You can also choose to have ESET warn you of potentially unwanted applications before they install. Click “Continue.”

A window will then appear asking if you would like to participate in anonymous information about how the product is used. Once finished, click “Install.”

The program will calculate available space and then install. Once finished, it will complete the installation.

Click “Done” once the installation is finished.

The main program window will open and you can then run a scan on your system.
