The full version of Exterminate It! is available today for download. But do you know where to find it on the web? And is the so-called “free” version really free?

Its a great thing you checked here first, as there may be some issues regarding this.

Only Use Trusted Download Sites

Beware any site that offers the Exterminate It! full version plus a patch for free. These may in fact be scam websites that are trying to infect your computer with malware.

Once malware is downloaded, it can start to wreak havoc with your computer. So, try to avoid any type of “free” download sites, unless you have thoroughly checked them out first.

The mantra “if it’s too good to be true, it probably is” is especially apt here.

Downloading hacked versions of any software is also a crime and causes the hard-working people who make these products to lose revenue. So, stick to paid-for software unless the makers clearly state that their products are free for anyone to download.

If you ever do go to a “free” download site and accidentally install malware on your system, Exterminate It! may be able to help you. For more information, read our post Does Exterminate It! Block Malware?
