So you have decided to use Max Secure Total Security for your computer’s anti-malware protection. Great, what next? Read on to find out how to download and install this program.
Find it Using Google
First, type in “Max Secure Total Security” into a google search. This will return the Max Secure Software website with a link that reads “Max Total Security Anti-Virus | Best Antivirus for Windows| Max Secure.”
Below this result is a “Free Download – Max Secure Software” link listing. Do not worry, this is not a scam link. It will take you to the same product page, except for the number of users and time frame for the product purchase.
Clicking on the first google result will bring you to the Max Secure Total Security product page. On this page there are buttons for time frame, “Buy Now” and “Download.” There are also some simple, albeit limited instructions. So, read further to understand the process more fully.
Download the Program
If you click on the “Download” button instead of “Buy Now” in a chrome browser, you will not be getting the full version. This is just a free trial with the option to purchase. Once “Download” is clicked, the file “MaxTSDM.exe” will appear on the bottom of your screen.
Clicking this will start the “Max Secure Total Security Download Manager” and installation process. This could take 10 minutes or more to complete, depending on your connection speed.
After downloading is finished, a window will appear asking if the app can make changes to your device. Click “Yes”.
Installation
After this is complete, it will go to a setup window. It will ask for the setup language, select “English” if this is your preferred language and hit “OK”. Accept the License Agreement and hit “Next” when asked about the “Max Secure Threat Research Community”.
Next, you can choose to start the system memory scan before installation. This is useful so it is recommended to hit “Next” here.
The program will then prepare to install and check product compatibility. If you have another antivirus program already installed on your system, it may ask to “continue with the installation by removing or disabling conflicting products.”
If you would like to do so, then click “Yes” after disabling your current antivirus or anti-malware program. If not, choose “No” and Max Secure will continue to install after warning you about possible conflicts.
After this, the Max Secure Memory Scanner will start running. This can take
upwards of 5 minutes. After this is complete the installing process will continue.
Next, you can choose to Register Max Secure Total Security. If you want just the free trial, choose “30 day’s trial.”
Registration for the 30 Day’s Trial
If you choose “30 day’s trial” it will take you to a registration information window in front of the Total Security Platinum management window. Finish registering with your information, then hit “Activate”. This will start your 30 day’s trial.
Scan Your System
Hit “Scan Now” to go to the scanning window. Choose a quick scan, custom scan, or full scan. The custom scan will allow you to choose which files you want to scan. The full scan will allow a “deep scan” or “critical scan” of certain drives.
‘Buy Now’
You can choose to purchase the product right away without downloading the trial. Just click how many users you want along with the time frame and click the “Buy Now” button on the product page. This will take you to a secure online order form where you can choose the quantity and payment information.
If you only download the trial, you will have the option of purchasing the full product inside of the program main scanning window. You will also be required to purchase the full version after the 30 day’s trial is finished.

Depending on your computer and internet connection speed, the installation process of Max Secure Total Security should take no more than 30 minutes.
