Installing software should be fast and easy, and NETGATE Internet Security is no different. This guide will show you how to install it.
NETGATE Internet Security consists of 2 components:
- FortKnox Firewall
- Spy Emergency
FortKnox Firewall monitors the apps on your system and allows you to block the ones that you do not want, or are unknown to you. This can stop a dangerous program running on your system from downloading any malware to your computer. FortKnox Firewall will also ask for your permission when an application attempts to connect to the internet. If you cannot recognize the app, you can block it. There are other options that allow you to block connections within specific dates and times.
The Spy Emergency part of NETGATE Internet Security is designed to protect your system from viruses and malware including Trojans, spyware, or spam. There are different scan types to choose from, including quick, full, or custom scans. During the scan, any file detected with its threat level will be displayed. This allows you to choose if you want to ignore it or remove it from your system.
